THIS NOTICE IS TO INFORM STAKEHOLDERS OF “BLISS BRANDS (PTY) LTD” APPLICATION TO THE CITY OF EKURHULENI FOR THE RENEWAL OF AN ATMOSPHERIC EMISSION LICENSE (`AEL`). Location: 129 – 132 Lamp Road Wadeville, Germiston situated within the City of Ekurhuleni.
Notice is hereby given of a public participation process in terms of Section 38(3) of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (Act No. 39 of 2004) (NEM: AQA) as amended.
Bliss Brands (Pty) Ltd is in the process of applying for the renewal of an Atmospheric Emission License to the City of Ekurhuleni with effect from June, 2026 as per the activity listed below:

Name of the Listed Activity: Sulphonation plant, Description of the Listed Activity:
Organic Chemical Industry, Category 6.
Description: The production of organic compounds, organic dyes and pigments, surface active agents and polymerization or co- polymerization of unsaturated hydrocarbons.
Application: All installations producing or using more than 100 tons per annum of any of the listed compounds.
