I am an Alberton resident but work for Parmalat, which is based in Centurion.
On Monday night, December 2, a Parmalat truck was hijacked by the Voortrekker Road on-ramp to the N12 highway at about 6.45pm
There were two trucks driving in convoy. The drivers claim that they stopped in the middle of the road and reversed at the traffic light as one of them had missed the on-ramp.
This should have caused quite a commotion as they were two big white refrigerated horse and trailers. One stopped in the road and the other was reversing up the road to get onto the on-ramp.
I was wondering if there is anyone who saw anything, given the time of evening and the fact that these two trucks were jamming the road.
If you saw anything, please do contact me. I would really appreciate your assistance in possibly getting some witnesses who may have seen something, anything.
