As everyone knows the SPCA receives no support from the government and relies solely on the generosity of businesses and people to continue protecting the animals and prevent cruelty.
The Alberton SPCA recently completed a project which they worked on for a while. Our kennels now have infrared heaters to help keep our dogs warmer during the cold and rainy nights.
A huge thank you goes out to Trust Electrical, Master Maths Alberton, Johan Deginaar, Chuck Anderson and Peter Van Rensburg for donating materials and labour towards this project.
A special mention must also be made to our kennel sponsors who donate every month, the anonymous donations we get all the time, the amazing businesses that support us, and all those that both donate towards and shop at our charity store.
Thank you.
You can support the SPCA by supporting their fund-raisers or dropping off your white paper for recycling, by becoming a kennel sponsor, adopting a pet from them or adding the Alberton SPCA to your will.
Residents are more than welcome to also donate items to their charity shop or sign up for a MySchoolMyPlanetMyVillage card.
