Resident grateful to EMPD officers
The rare sight of EMPD officials directing traffic due to dead traffic lights pleased a resident, who could not recall when last he saw such a thing.
On the afternoon of July 19, I was blown away coming down Nelson Mandela Avenue.
The traffic lights were off, but behold, from the off-ramp of the R59 to Jochem von Bruggen, traffic officials were directing the traffic.
I cannot remember when I last saw this. Well done, and I hope we will see more of this.
