Alberton starts on a high note

Alberton Cricket Club’s Premier League side started the new season on a high note by defeating Community Paints Marks Park by 63 runs in the first fifty overs match of the season.

ALBERTON – Alberton lost the toss and was sent in to bat first by the visitors. Alberton, co-sponsored by Francois Wiese Associates and Konica Minolta Johannesburg, amassed 289 all out and dismissed Marks Park for 226 runs.
