Hoërskool Dinamika’s U19s, the D-Division champions, faced Hoërskool Ben Vorster U19 in a promotion-relegation game to determine which team would advance to the C-Division.
HS Ben Vorster opened the batting and, after 24.2 overs, scored 146/10.
The top performers with the ball were Sebastiaan le Roux with three overs, 13 runs, and two wickets; Tyron Whateley with five overs, 21 runs, and two wickets and Jayden Smith with five overs, 25 runs, and two wickets.
In 26.2 overs, HS Dinamika scored 147/6.
The top performers with the bat were Dean van Onselen with 36 runs off 47 deliveries, Duandre Nieuwenhuys with 25 runs off 26 deliveries not out and Mohammed Valli with 24 runs off 19 deliveries.
The player of the match award went to Jayden Smith of HS Ben Vorster.
Winning by four wickets, HS Dinamika advanced to the Finsbury Super League’s C-Division.
The school commended coaches Damian and Jaques and the first team for their fantastic start to the first half of the season.
