Eden Park boxer remains undeterred

Eden Park boxer Xholani Charlie took part in a boxing tournament held in Booysens in the 63kg division.

Despite Eden Park Boxing Club’s Charlie giving his best, he unfortunately lost via Referee Stopped Contest (RSC).

On the same day, the Eden Park Boxing Club was also invited to attend a women’s day tournament which was held at Constitutional Hill.

“It was good to see how good the standard of female boxing is in our country. Club head coach, Darryl Carl and I urge females to consider taking up the sport,” said chairman Sydney Kok.
