Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness celebrates 7th anniversary
For those interested in joining a family-oriented martial arts school, Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness offers a supportive environment to help you grow both physically and mentally.
Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness proudly marked its seventh anniversary this year, celebrating a journey of growth, dedication, and community.
The club has come from humble beginnings in the Brackenhurst Scout Hall to establishing a fully equipped dojo.
Reflecting on this milestone, sensei Andre van Jaarsveld expressed heartfelt gratitude.
“Looking back from where we started to where we are today, I can only thank the Lord for bringing the right people into my life at the right time to help grow the dojo.”
Over the years, the dojo has expanded its offerings, transitioning from teaching karate alone to incorporating kickboxing, Korean Fighting Systems, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).
The growth has been driven by a committed team of instructors, supportive students, and dedicated parents, all of whom play an integral role in its success.
“I am truly blessed with awesome instructors, students, and parents,” said Andre.
“I also want to thank my family, Mel and Jeandre, for their unwavering support, as well as past students, instructors, and everyone who has contributed to Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness over the years.”
As 2025 unfolds, exciting opportunities await the dojo and its community.
With plans to welcome new members and continue guiding students to their full potential, Andre looks forward to taking more people on the journey to the top of the mountain.
