Alberton young boxer claims victory on points
With confidence from the first bell, 14-year-old Tiffany Potter outclassed her opponent to win on points in a thrilling Women’s Day bout.
Tiffany Potter (14), weighing in at 39kg, represented Alberton Boxing Club at the Women’s Day tournament held at Springs Mall on August 9.
The event featured 12 clubs. Tiffany delivered an outstanding performance to win on points.
According to her coach, Gert De Klerk, it was an intense fight. “Tiffany remained in control from the opening bell to the final round, impressing the crowd with her skill and determination.”
“She was in control of the fight from the start, and we are proud of her performance.”
Coach Johan Fritz also supported her. The coaches were impressed by her achievement.
