Alberton’s rising boxing star secures second victory
Young boxer Tristan Herman continues his winning streak, bringing pride to Alberton Boxing Club after another strong performance in the ring.
Alberton Boxing Club shone once again at a tournament on August 16, at Transnet in Pretoria, where 10 clubs competed for top honours.
Rising star Tristan Herman (11, 37kg) faced a boxer from Tuine Tiere Boxing Club.
According to his coach Gert de Klerk, the match was closely contested, with both boxers’ strong performances, while the spectators showing their support from the sidelines.
In the end, Herman’s determination and skill saw him claim another impressive win.
This marks his second consecutive victory this month. Earlier, he dominated his first fight at the Koedoespoort development tournament on August 2, where the referee stopped the bout in the first round.
Fellow Alberton boxers Anjoreece Potter and Blake Potter also delivered strong performances, finishing as runners-up on the day.
