Family and friends fundraiser at McDonald’s Alberton for local learners
Alberton Christian Academy athletes Esona and Mzwandile Ashula are hosting a fundraiser at McDonald’s Alberton on September 11, from 14:00 to 17:00.
Two determined young athletes, Esona and Mzwandile Ashula, are inviting the Alberton community to join them for a special fundraiser at McDonald’s Alberton on September 11, from 14:00 to 17:00.
The siblings, learners at Alberton Christian Academy, have been selected to represent their school at the SACSSA National Athletics Championships taking place in Durban on September 26.
To make the trip possible, they are working together with their school coach to raise the funds needed for travel and participation.
Supporters can contribute simply by placing an order during the fundraising hours. All proceeds from the designated till will go directly towards covering the costs of the Ashula children’s trip to Durban.
Their family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the community for rallying behind the young athletes.
“Your support means the world to them. Let’s come together to make this fundraiser a success and help them achieve their goals in athletics,” they said.
The initiative is not only about raising money but also about giving Esona and Mzwandile valuable exposure and encouragement as they prepare for the national stage.
Family, friends, and community members are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a meal, and cheer the Ashula siblings on as they chase their athletic dreams.
