The Alberton Boxing Club represented the province at the South African National Boxing Organisation Cadets and Juniors Championships in Rustenburg, North West.

The team included Johan Fritz as coach, judge Estelle Greeff, referees and judges Gert de Klerk and Pieter Strydom, and the club’s only competing boxer, Karien Els, who delivered an impressive performance to earn a silver medal in the 57kg division.

The performance reflects the dedication and hard work of the club members, who have consistently excelled in competition and officiating.
