Randhart Ranties pedal to impressive 34th place in tough mountain bike race
Laerskool Randhart placed 34th out of 104 primary schools at Diamantvallei Estate, with two riders securing 14th-place finishes in their categories.
Laerskool Randhart’s cycling team had plenty to celebrate after an impressive showing at a recent mountain bike race at Diamantvallei Estate.
The race was described as technical, but the Ranties rose to the occasion to secure 34th place out of 104 primary schools.
Among Randhart’s top achievers were Fleur van der Walt, who finished 14th in the Nipper Girls U9 category, and Tayden Prince, who also finished 14th in the Nipper Boys U9 category.
Chase Els finished 27th in the Sprog Boys U12 category, while Kade Gerber claimed 18th place in the Junior Boys category.
The school congratulated all its cyclists on their performances, saying its riders acquitted themselves admirably.
Randhart also expressed pride in the cyclists’ continued efforts and dedication to improve with every race.
The performances gave the school another reason to celebrate the commitment of its young cyclists as they take on challenging races.
