Natalie Chapman takes on Alberton
Singer, songwriter Natalie Chapman is set to repeat the incredible achievement she set last year by performing in 90 different cities on 90 consecutive days.
The 2014 #90Days tour was created to bring attention to survivors of violent and sexual crimes.
The #90Days2015 tour will begin on January 28 in Pretoria and end on April 27. The tour will travel over 1 500km and extend as far as Botswana, Namibia and Lesotho. Chapman will be joined on her 180 gig tour by artists like Josie Field, Andra, Raoul and Black Friday.
The objective of #90Days2015 is simple for Natalie Chapman: to reach one person in each town to encourage survivors to speak out about their experiences in order to find healing, and to also motivate and mobilise everyday South Africans to get involved in helping women, men and children who have suffered an ordeal.
She will be performing not only at various live venues across the country but also at women’s and children’s shelters; children’s homes, schools and prisons during the day to promote involvement in community building and the rights of women and children.
Natalie Chapman is a proud ambassador and Board Member of Epic Foundation, and will be raising funds for this organisation and others around South Africa through her performances and fundraising events.
Chapman will be performing in Alberton on April 22
