JOZI Linez presents ‘One Night with the King’ featuring Rhema Varrie and the Jozi Linez band.
This big event will take place on July 2, at 19:00 at the Covenant Christian Centre in Eden Park. Other performances will be by The National School of Arts Brass and Strings Ensemble and other artists.
Rhema Varrie (21) from Eden Park auditioned for season 11 of ‘Idols’ last year and made it to the top four before he was eliminated. In a previous interview with the RECORD he said that he hopes to make an impact in the lives of others and to give back to the community. He also said: “This is just the beginning for me. I’m already working on my career and promise that I will make South Africa proud. People voted for more than just another idol, they voted for a role model. They need someone their children will look up to.”
After that he has never stopped singing and released his first single this year, ‘Alone’, with Chrizz Beatz. He is sure one to look out for.
