It's going to be a very cold weekend and for all those who have Netflix, being indoors won’t be such a bad thing because you'll get to catch up on some of these highlights and chill.
Get out the hot chocolate, snacks, warm blankets and heaters because it’s going to be a cold weekend. If you have Netflix at home, then you’re on your way to a weekend of great entertainment. Here are a few highlights to comfort you in the cold.
Orange is the New Black (Season 4)
The women of Connecticut Minimum-Security Prison are back for season four and although the last season was described as a bittersweet experience by many, this season has already received critical acclaim. The new season is darker and delves deeper into the lives of the prisoners. The show is moving away from the original Piper Chapman story and this season sees the show’s writers take the stories to new heights and focussing on other characters.
Chelsea
Hands down the funniest woman on Netflix, Chelsea Handler supplies your weekly dose of politics, tech and allround adult humour. She interviews a wide variety of celebrity guests from Wiz Khalifa through Drew Barrymore to Pitbull and continues to lambaste Trump. This is a hilariously bizarre companion for a cold night in. If you like punchy and off-beat humour, Hollywood’s party girl has got you covered.
Chef’s Table
If you love food like billions of people around the world, Chef’s Table is a must see. This American documentary series profiles a single world-renowned chef in each episode. The food imitates art and the chef’s stories are captivating. Make sure you have some gourmet snacks of your own while watching.
Fundamentals of Caring
Selena Gomez stars in the Netflix original movie Fundamentals of Caring, which is a movie adaptation of the popular novel of the same name. Paul Rudd plays a writer who is forced to retire after a personal tragedy and becomes a disabled teen’s caregiver.
