Although the word “dude” was originally used by surfers, it became a popular word used between men.

2. Sweet

Sweet or schweet was used to describe something that was awesome or cool.

3. Totally

This phrase, mainly used by 90s’ girls, was a slang word for “of course”.

4. Fly

If you were described as being “fly” then you knew you had reached cool status.

5. Word

Although there is no exact meaning for this word (no pun intended) it was used as a form of confirmation.
