The Girl in the Spider’s Web (16 LSV)
This highly-anticipated new chapter in the popular film series is filled with smouldering suspense, cutting-edge style and intense action from the dark underworld of cybercrime. Fired from the National Security Agency, Frans Balder recruits hacker Lisbeth Salander to steal FireWall, a computer program that can access codes for nuclear weapons worldwide. The download soon draws attention from an NSA agent who traces the activity to Stockholm. Further problems arise when Russian thugs take Lisbeth’s laptop and kidnap a math whiz who can make FireWall work. Now, Lisbeth and an unlikely ally must race against time to save the boy and recover the codes to avert disaster. Lisbeth and journalist Mikael Blomkvist find themselves caught in a web of spies, cybercriminals and corrupt government officials.

The story of the incredible adventures of two friends—Max the cat and Bob the beaver. It would be difficult to find heroes who’re more unlike each other! Conservative Bob likes peace and quiet, while Max is a fidget seeking fame and fortune. Regardless, it’s this duo that will have to repel the invasion of alien animal hunters and become famous for the whole galaxy!
