12 behind bars for various crimes

This past weekend Alberton SAPS detained at least 12 suspects for various crimes.

From August 25 to 27, members of Alberton SAPS arrested 12 suspects for alleged crimes in their policing precinct.

The suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from dealing drugs, drinking and driving, theft, shoplifting, common assault and possession of drugs.

Alberton SAPS’ station commander and the management have since commended the officers for a job well done and welcomed the successful arrests.

“Suspects were charged accordingly and taken to the local court for their alleged crimes. We encourage the community to continue informing the police regarding crime in their area,” explained Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS.
