Police investigate murder case at Nobuhle Hostel

Police detectives are investigating a murder that apparently took place at Nobuhle Hostel on the corner of 6th Avenue and Ruth Street on 14 February at about 2am.

Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha said on the Sunday morning they received a call regarding the alleged murder.

“On arrival, the roommate showed the police officers the deceased. He was lying on the ground,” he said.

Mbatha added that the deceased had been stabbed in the back of his head.

An investigation is underway.
