Calling on scholars for mentorhsip programme

The Greater Alex Leadership Seminars is inviting pupils in Grade 8 to 12 to be a part of the Greater Alex Mentorship Programme.

“This is a great opportunity for all pupils and they are encouraged to submit a letter of motivation with your details, names, address, grade, age, sex, and contact details in order to be considered, and these can dropped at the Sankopano Amphitheatre on May 22nd (3pm- 6pm), 23rd (3pm- 6pm) and 24th (10am- 2pm),” said co-organiser Sakhile Shabangu.

Shabangu said the motivation should be half a page long and should motivate why pupils believed they were a perfect candidate for the mentorship programme, and should include their hobbies, after-school activities, dreams and aspirations.

Greater Alex Leadership Seminars is an initiative that aims to enhance the community of Alexandra by creating an interactive platform for pupils in high schools from Alexandra and neighbouring suburbs.

The organisers will provide subsidised monthly seminars which will be headed by qualified key speakers with insight from various industries.
