ALEXANDRA - A Riverpark man is being sought by the police in connection with allegations of beating up his girlfriend after accusing her of cheating on him.

The girlfriend said she arrived at her Ext 10 home from work to find her boyfriend parked outside her gate. He wanted to know about her whereabouts and accused her of cheating on him. An argument ensued.

He then punched her and she fell to the ground. He kicked her while she was on the ground. The boyfriend was stopped by the woman’s brothers who came out of the house when they heard the commotion.

Alex police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the police were still looking for the suspect who had since vanished from his Riverpark home.
