Writing classes from esteemed author
JOBURG – Take a masterclass from the master herself.
Prepare to hear the stories of hope and transformation, of adversity and triumph, as well as the stories that fill social and historical gaps in people’s lives and communities.
Through a series of master classes, acclaimed author, lecturer, human rights activist and businesswoman Beatrice Achaleke is looking to help the authors of these untold stories find their voices.
Based both online and on-site, the GloBUNTU Master Class is carefully designed to meet the needs of first-time writers.
Based on that fact that first-time writers battle with self-doubt and even fear putting pen to paper, Achaleke aims to provide them with the motivation to succeed despite procrastination and writing blocks.
This course, which was researched and constructed over many years, aims to address a number of aspects of the writing process including the development of personal skills, presenting, marketing one’s book, publishing, training, as well as telling their story of course.
“You come in with the idea of wanting to write a book and leave with your book, a clear knowledge of your target audience, your marketing concept and main income streams and… how you can tap into them. Above all, you know yourself better and learn how to perfectly manage your imperfections in a way that makes you excel in what you do,” said Achaleke.
The masterclass forms part of the GloBUNTU Mindset System, developed by the businesswoman and her team, which aims to teach storytellers from all walks of life how to promote their product and to create and build relationships.
The masterclass will be available online, but look out for the classes regularly hosted by Achaleke in Johannesburg.
With a world of wisdom gained throughout her experiences in writing and business management, these classes are a valuable tool for those seeking to also tell their own stories.
