Hunt is on for Alex’s aspiring beauticians

ALEXANDRA - Beauty salon invites aspirant beauticians to a free training and mentoring course.

Alex’s aspiring beauticians looking to break into this expensive profession are asked to register with Ellies Beauty Studio for a free training and mentoring programme.

The registration started on 20 February and ends 20 April and will be followed by training which will be held at Sankopano Community Centre.

The programme, in its second year, will provide participants with the chance to hone their skills through top-notch training on massage, eyelash extensions, nail technology, body waxing and facials. “They will receive expert advice, latest skills, knowledge of essential equipment and, will be mentored to give them experiential know-how to start their own businesses. They will also work in the salon’s studios to gain experience. They have no excuse to stay bored and unemployed at home resulting in depression,” said Elizabeth Nchabeng of the salon.

Participants will be selected on a first-come first-served basis.
