Daughter (22) accuses father of rape
[Warning: Explicit content] ALEXANDRA – The complainant alleged that the suspect started violating her sexually when she was 13-years-old.
Police are investigating a rape case that happened on Friday, 24 July in Alexandra.
According to the spokesperson for Alexandra Police Station, Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, the 22-year-old complainant said that her father sent her a message asking her to come to his bedroom. “[According to the complainant,] she went to his room and found him in bed. He then asked her to take off her clothes and join him in bed. He penetrated her in her vagina without a condom. She then went back to her room,” explained Mbatha.
Mbatha added that the complainant said she told her mother about the rape incident on Monday, 27 July. “She further alleged that the suspect has been sleeping with her since she was 13 years old,” said Mbatha.
The suspect has not been arrested yet. Mbatha explained that the complainant still has to go for testing and DNA samples need to be taken to link the suspect to the crime. “He will be arrested as soon as that part of the investigation has concluded.”
The investigation is ongoing.
