Alex’s Moloi eyes a professional coaching licence

ALEXANDRA – Moloi also coaches rugby at Skeen Primary School, Pholosho Junior Secondary School and Minerva.

Alex Wolves rugby coach Jack Moloi has set his eyes on acquiring the prestigious Level 3 coaching licence that will allow him to turn professional.

Interviewed by Alex News, Moloi, a 2018 matriculant of Minerva Secondary School, has been coaching the Wolves senior side, the U13 and U16 girls, and the U16 boys for the past five years.

Wolves is an affiliate of the Gauteng Lions Rugby Union whose senior side has won the league three times in a row, 2017 to 2019, and that momentum has been disrupted by the outbreak of Covid-19 last year.

Besides being coach of the Wolves teams, Moloi, who holds a semi-professional Level 2 licence, said he also coached rugby in Alex schools as part of the development of rugby in the township and also serves as a talent identification exercise for the Wolves teams.

Moloi coaches rugby at Skeen Primary School, Pholosho Junior Secondary School and Minerva and is also a coach cum player for the senior side of the Wolves.

“Most of us who were matriculates of 2018 were heavily into sport and up until now, a good number of us are still active in various sporting codes,” Moloi said.
