Umcimbi Omkhulu, the latest Gqom single from Alex-based vocalist Zukile Tshomela, also known as Ltee Teekza, promises to deliver pure good vibes when it officially drops on November 28.

Although the track is only being released now, its roots date back to last year. Ltee Teekza said he was on the Creative Champions League Tour with the Topshayela musician’s group when inspiration struck. “The tour became one of the reasons why I wrote Umcimbi Omkhulu. After the first event, I went to the studio to record it, and even performed it during some of the tour’s shows.”

For those who missed the tour, Ltee Teekza assured that they can still capture the energy. “All I can say to my people, is that those who missed the tour will get the feeling from the music video.”

The track, which features Ultima, is produced by DJ Target, known for hits such as Yamnandi and Umthwalo Wami. Together, Ltee Teekza and DJ Target have crafted a sound that brings together rhythm and lyrical hooks, to ignite dance floors.

The energy is already captivated in the hook. It is a chant that captures the chaos, joy, and spirit of celebration.

Ltee Teekza, the KwaZulu‑Natal born artist, has been building his career since 2014, when he released his debut single, Focus. Over the years, he has carved out a niche as both an Amapiano and Gqom vocalist.

Although the track’s release, which was originally scheduled for October 22, was delayed, after signing a deal with David Gresham Records, Ltee Teekza has a renewed determination to ensure the single lands with maximum impact.

With its beat, celebratory lyrics, and the backing of one of the industry’s most respected producers, Umcimbi Omkhulu is poised to become a staple at parties and gatherings this festive season.
