Mathabatha Joba’s podcast empowers queer voices

LivenInspirewithMathabatha gives the members of the queer community a safe space to express themselves.

The airwaves buzz with a new and exciting podcast called ‘LivenInspirewithMathabatha’ hosted by an advocate for the LBGTQ+ community Mathabatha Joba every Wednesday from 19:00-20:00 on MyneighborhoodTV

The producer of the podcast Onkemetse Matlhaku said the podcast provides a safe space for members of the queer community to share their stories, both triumphant and challenging.

“This podcast serves as a vibrant space where stories of inspiration, challenges, and communication unfold, providing listeners with a rich tapestry experience that mirrors the diverse spectrum of the queer community,” Matlhaku said.

Matlhaku said in a world where queer voices are often silenced or ignored LivenInspirewithMathabatha serves as a ray of hope, shining a spotlight on these experiences and fostering conversations around acceptance and understanding.

“Each episode delves into the personal stories of guests, covering topics ranging from coming out experiences to navigating all other problems they have faced as members of the queer community.

Matlhaku said with this podcast they are hoping to attract sponsors and to let the community know about it as it accommodates everyone under the rainbow nation and they hope to provide a safety element for the queer community as well as to have Pride Alex.
