Beke Le Beke urges the youth to brave life’s lemons

Rough Inside's Beke Le Beke single is set to encourage people to never stop moving forward even when life offers them lemons.

There is a new sound coming out of Alexandra, and its message is all about resilience and perseverance on the part of the youth.

Amapiano artists Kamogelo ‘Kairo’ Moqayi and Aphiwe ‘Logo’ Mankayi known as Rough Inside from Alexandra is about to release their first single album Beke Le Beke.

“We were in North West so when we got there the vibe was too much in such a way that we had to switch from our mother tongue to accommodate people from North West. We had gigs every week – we then decided to name our single album Beke Le Beke which speaks about something that happens more often or week in and week out,” Kairo explained.

He said the message behind the song is to encourage people to never stop hustling no matter the challenges they face and their main target is the youth because it serves as a reminder to them to do things while they still have the power.

“The song serves as a reminder to the youth that week in and week out we have to chase our dreams no matter the obstacles because nothing comes easy in life. You have to work hard for all that you want to get. You are the one responsible for making that dream of yours come true.”

The group hopes that their music will give people the courage to keep going even when things are tough. The Rough Inside has worked hard to create the album and they are excited to share it with the world.

The single will be released on their digital platforms on April 26.
