New book shares author’s journey of faith and healing

From Childhood is a love letter to survivors, dreamers, and anyone quietly hurting. In it, author Langutani Rikhotso reminds readers that they are seen, loved, and never defined by their past.

In a world quick to move past difficult stories, Langutani Rikhotso has chosen the braver path… To write hers down.

Her book, From Childhood, is a testimony of survival, divine protection, and the strength that emerges when a young life is tested by hardship.

In it, she talks about some of the deepest, most tender experiences from her childhood, the kind that could break anyone, and then shows, exactly how God wrapped her up, protected her, guided her, and carried her through every stormy season. “It’s a story of faith, resilience, healing, and hope.”

Why did she write it? Because she was tired of carrying those heavy chapters alone.

After years of holding it all in, she felt that beautiful divine nudge to share it, and she did, for the children, for the women, for anyone who’s ever felt crushed by life’s blows.

From Childhood touches on the familiar issues that young people face, and are sometime too afraid or ashamed to speak about publicly, including abuse, heartbreak, betrayal, or gender-based violence.

“Through my personal story and the experiences of others, I encourage readers to understand that they are not alone.”

From Childhood is just raw truth, wrapped in love, reminding every young heart that they not broken beyond repair. This is the raw truth that made Rikhotso who she is today.

When asked what she would say to the little girl she once was, Rikhotso poured out pure gold that is enough to make anyone clutch their chest. “Your past does not determine your future.

Never believe that you are less because of what happened to you. You are strong, beautiful, loved, and chosen by God. The pain you experienced was not your fault, and it does not define who you are.

“Your future is greater than your past, and the dreams God placed in your heart will come to pass in His time. Trust God, and remember that you are worthy of love, healing, and happiness.”

This is exactly the message she needs everyone to hear, so they rise above their circumstances and glow with that quiet strength only someone who’s walked through fire can carry.

From Childhood is a reminder that even the deepest wounds can become testimonies of strength and healing.
