The much-anticipated Nedbank Ke Yona Team Search has officially opened to aspiring football players.
The team search is a component of the 32-team Nedbank Cup competition that has, over the years pitted David against Goliath in the form of teams from the lower divisions playing against their counterparts in the Premier Soccer League, and has become one of the most exciting football tournaments.
Running parallel to this prestigious tournament is the Nedbank Ke Yona Team Search that unearths exciting South African football talent for a shot at a professional football career. The team search is testimony to the bank that is living up to its grand promise of ‘making goals happen’ for South Africans from all walks of life.
The Gauteng leg of the team search will take place on 24 and 25 May at the FNB Stadium in Soweto, and interested players must first register by SMSing *120*KEYONA# or *120*539662# and follow the easy steps.
Players must be between the ages of 18 and 35, and in possession of a valid South African ID to be eligible to enter.
