Alex football wishes all and sundry a merry festive season

ALEXANDRA - Alex football will go on recess as from 17 December to accommodate the festive season.

Alex football will take its Christmas break from 17 December.

This was disclosed by the secretary general of the Alexandra Northrand Local Football Association, Mafika Morajane in an interview with Alex News. Morajane said football activities would resume on 13 January with a new year meeting for all club chairpersons at the LFA House at the Alexandra Stadium at 6pm. He said a number of pertinent issues would be discussed at the meeting.

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish everybody at LFA House, those connected with football in the community, all football lovers, clubs, their chairpersons, officials, technical staff of the clubs, the players, our referees and the community of Alexandra in general, a merry Christmas and blessed New Year,” he said.

“I urge all those who will be driving to various destination in the country and outside, to drive dry, drive well and have a safe journey and enjoy the festive season with their loved ones. I also implore them to return back in 2015 in one piece through the observance of practices mentioned above.”
