The game will be played at Soweto’s FNB Stadium at 7.30pm.
Soccer fans will relish the opportunity to see Hoffenheim’s Brazilian sensation Roberto Firmino. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder recently made his debut for the Brazilian national team scoring a dream goal in a 2-1 win over Austria.
Other notable players are goalkeeper Oliver Baumann, midfielder Tobias Strobi and striker Kevin Volland.
The match will also see the return of Chiefs’ Itumeleng Khune in goal since his injury, while new signing from Chippa United, David Zulu will probably make his debut.
The Amakhosi are on top of the Absa Premiership log and the Hoffenheim clash will provide an interesting test. Hoffenheim’s coach Markus Gisdol prefers to play attacking soccer, much like Amakhosi coach Stuart Baxter.
