Seven-year-old Bonolo Mphuthi of Iphutheng Primary School was one of the beneficiaries of the clothing donations from some of the players who not only emptied their wardrobes before coming to South Africa, but also collected old clothes from friends and family for the trip.
“Thanks so much,” was all Bonolo could utter in his ‘little’ English before dashing out of the Number 3 Square Grounds for home, with his clothes in hand, to go and show his family.
