VIDEO: Funeral details of the late Ahmed Kathrada
Ahmed Kathrada funeral details have been released by his organisation.

With the passing of struggle veteran Ahmed Kathrada, the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation has released a statement giving details of the funeral arrangements.
For those who want to attend the funeral to bid farewell to the fallen hero, they can attend the funeral service that will take place on Wednesday 29 March commencing at 10am at the Westpark Cemetery on Beyers Naude Drive, Johannesburg.
The foundation announced that this special service is open to all members of the public and media, who wish to attend.
Beginning at 10am, the foundation has organised a special political tribute session. Among the speakers will be former president of South Africa and board member of the Kathrada Foundation, Kgalema Motlanthe. Sophie Williams-de Bruyn, a well-known steadfast anti-apartheid struggle veteran, as well as a family member and a Robben Island prisoner will all deliver addresses at the service.

At 11.30am, the Muslim funeral prayer rites will commence at the cemetery. Following this will be the official final burial.
