Water supply gradually recovering in Bedfordview

Water is gradually returning after a pumping suspension at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Plant, but high-lying areas remain affected. Residents are urged to conserve water.

Water supply to Germiston and Bedfordview is gradually recovering following a temporary suspension of pumping at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Plant on October 8.

According to the City of Ekurhuleni, high-lying areas in Bedfordview and parts of Germiston are still experiencing water supply interruptions.

Residents whose water supply has been restored are urged to use water sparingly to support the recovery of the system.

• Spar car park
• Village car park
