Visit the Kensington Market

The market caters for residents who want to browse for high quality, local, hand-made, home-grown and homemade, fresh, creative and quirky arts and crafts items. From freshly baked bread to biltong, homemade sweets, jewellery, Himalayan clothing to old-fashioned toys, dog biscuits, antiques and freshly brewed coffee, people can get just about anything.

People can also come hungry as the market has food stalls offering boerewors rolls, spiral chips, vegetarian food, hotdogs, bunny chows, rotis and curry. Halaal food is also available.

There is entertainment for children and a watering hole for dogs on a leash. There is ample parking, entrance is free and car guards are available.
