The St Benedict’s College pipe bands took part in the final gathering of the year at Benoni High School on July 27.
The novice juvenile band, the juvenile band and the world‘s tour band, performed well in all categories.
The novice juvenile band was awarded second prize for its march selection. It also received first prize for the bass section.
The juvenile band was also awarded first place, Champion of Champions for the entire season for its drumming section.
The world’s tour band was awarded first prize for its march selection.
The band departed on August 7 for the World Pipe Band championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
