Zombie life at Morninghill
Computer game and fantasy lovers converged on the Zombie Run Geek Twilight run that was held at Goldfields Showgrounds in Morninghill on Saturday last week.

Ms Kasia Jabrzemski, co-owner of the organising company Dark Carnival, said the show was to allow like-minded people a chance to enjoy themselves and let the community at large enjoy the gamer’s life.
“It has been a fun day for everyone. It was enjoyed mostly by people who like computer games, comics, Star Wars movies and those who like to dress up as characters from the movies. We had Orusta medieval fighting, table top gaming and board games among other things,” she said.
She added that the Zombie Run was five kilometres.
“It was five kilometres of gut-wrenching, blood pumping, sweat dripping fear. The trail had an army of marauding zombies. This was to create a narrative on a racecourse designed to simulate an apocalypse,” she said.
Ms Jabrzemski said the proceeds of the event went to the BirdLife SA.
