“Three that come to mind are the body found in Plantation Road, the burnt body found at the Edenvale Sports Grounds and the body of a man found at Sizwe Hospital,” said Warrant Officer Jean Olckers, the communications officer for the Edenvale SAPS.
“We owe it to these people who can no longer speak for themselves to find closure to their deaths. We cannot do this without the help of the community,” he said.
W/O Olckers said there are a number of cases in Edenvale which have never been solved.
“These dockets remain open but they require vital information for the investigations to be concluded,” he said.
