The Edenvale Community Police Forum (ECPF) has joined hands with Fahrenheit restaurant to host a Christmas lunch for senior citizens.
The lunch will take place on November 5.
The event is open to all senior citizens who cannot afford to go out for, or have, a Christmas lunch.
“We need the contact details of the senior citizens so they can be invited to the event,” said vice-chairperson for the ECPF, Mrs Sheryl Damerell.
She added that the ECPF received a donation of 150 Christmas stockings and called on businesses in the area to donate small gifts to be used as stocking fillers.
Anyone able to assist, or who would like to nominate a senior citizen, can contact Mrs Sheryl Damerell on 082 575 6130 or sdamerell@telkomsa.net
