Krejcir case postponed

Krejcir appeared alongside Siboniso Miya, Desai Luphondo and two members of the Hawks, warrant officers Samuel Modise Maropeng and George Jeff Nthoroane.

Radovan Krejcir and four co-accused appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Friday, January 24.

Magistrate Reginald Dama granted the State’s application for a postponement after Prosecutor Louis Mashiane approached the court for a postponement to conclude investigations.

Krejcir appeared alongside Siboniso Miya, Desai Luphondo and two members of the Hawks, warrant officers Samuel Modise Maropeng and George Jeff Nthoroane.

Krejcir is accused of being involved with a kidnapping and assault case, in which a R24-million crystal meth deal went wrong.

On January 10, the High Court in Johannesburg denied Krejcir leave to appeal the dismissal of his application for bail by the Palm Ridge Regional Court.

The case has been postponed to February 24 and a trial date has yet to be set.
