The Johannesburg Philharmonic Choir welcomes new members.
The choir has about 20 singers who enjoy raising their voices and entertaining others.
They were recently invited to the World Choir Games. The choir performed at a number of retirement villages and trimmed its programme to suit those audiences.
“We are very keen to develop our ethnic South African repertoire and our competent and enthusiastic director, Mr Teboho Sekgapane, is able to guide us in that direction,” said Ms Janet Brodrick.
The choir practises on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm at the Jeppe High School for Boys. The school is situated in Good Hope Street in Kensington. Auditions take place after practice.
