Support Edenvale’s community Sunday

There is no charge for entrance to the event and guests can look forward to a musical arena, a market space, a playground for children and bring-and-braai stands.

Community Sunday will launch in Edenvale on April 27, when South Africa celebrates 20 years of democracy.

The event will take place at Horwood’s Farm from 8am to 5pm.

There is no charge for entrance to the event and guests can look forward to a musical arena, a market space, a playground for children and bring-and-braai stands.

Those wanting to attend are asked to bring along blankets, food and other old goods to donate to those less fortunate.

A trailer will be supplied where residents can drop off any unwanted goods.

Cash donations will also be accepted and will be used to renovate facilities at Horwood’s Farm.

The event will be organised and run by Creating a Pure Direction (CAPD) and is aimed at investing in a better Edenvale for all.

There are limited stalls available for the day and those wanting to be part of the action, and who want to sell their goods, can e-mail Unite@CAPDHeArt.co.za

Alternatively, residents can find the organisation on Twitter @CAPDHeArt or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/CAPDRSA
