A man has been arrested for business robbery in Yeoville.

The arrest took place at the corner of Webb and Grafton roads.

“It is alleged that two men went to the address and pretended to be customers and held the employees at gun point. They took money and personal belongings from the employees,” said Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville SAPS. The suspects fled the scene.

“A docket was registered and investigated by the Yeoville SAPS. The officers left no stone unturned and their investigations led to the arrest of one of the suspects in Yeoville on March 9,” said Const Malatji. The suspect is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges of business robbery.
