A man was arrested for being in possession of stolen identity documents in Yeoville.
“The police received information about a man who was in possession of identity documents and passports at his residence. Officers proceeded to the house and found the suspect who had 10 identity documents bearing different names,” said Constable Thabo Malatji, of the Yeoville SAPS.
According to Const Malatji, the man was unable to satisfactorily explain to the police how he came to have the identity documents.
“He was arrested and detained at the Yeoville SAPS. He is expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Const Malatji. @JoburgJourno
