SAPS seeks information

The Jeppe SAPS is requesting the help of the community in a business robbery case.

Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said an employee at the BP filling station in Albertina Sisulu Road in Kensington alleged a Toyota Quantum with four occupants stopped at the business on February 10 at about 2.30am.

“Two of the men went in the shop and started picking up items, as though they were planning on buying them. One of the men then pointed a firearm at the employee. The employee was ordered to open the cashier room, which he did,” said W/O Munyai.

The suspects took cash. Before fleeing, they also took cigarettes.

Anyone with information can phone the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Thabo Mogajana, on 011 624-6021 or 083 232 0032.
