Yeoville SAPS building nears completion
The construction is expected to be complete by the end of August 2014.
The construction of the new Yeoville SAPS building remains on-track, despite some industrial disruptions.
The construction is expected to be complete by the end of August 2014.
“Work is going ahead as planned. We are currently dealing with the steel work. The metal workers strike has affected the speed at which we work,” said Mr Johan Nell, the project manager.
The construction of the new, modern Yeoville SAPS building has experienced disruptions in the past. The EXPRESS previously reported about labour-related disruptions at the construction site.
Workers expressed their disapproval of foreign labour being utilised to the disadvantage of locals.
Mr Nell said once the construction is complete, the residents will have something to be proud of.
“They will have a modern facility at their service. A pleasant, spacious building with plenty of features and parking space,” said Mr Nell. @JoburgJourno
