Siyabonga Sithaluza took first place in the eight kilometre race, finishing in a time of 31:40. He was followed by Mark Chatam who finished in 31:45 and Danya Finnegan, who completed the race in 32:45.
Ray Orchison won the five kilometre race with a finishing time of 19:29. He was followed by Jason Pike who finished in 23:05 and Carl Holmes, who finished in 23:06.
The first woman to finish the five kilometre race was Tatum White, a grade 6 pupil. She finished in eighth place overall, with a time of 25:25.
Zoliswa Makheta, a grade 11 pupil, was the first woman to finish the eight kilometre race. She completed the race in 40:05.
