The police escort of Czech fugitive, Radovan Krejcir, was involved in an accident on the R24 yesterday morning, while being transported to the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.

The accident involved three state SAPS vehicles, as well as one civilian vehicle, at the Edenvale Road bridge on the R24.

Krejcir was due to appear in court yesterday, where he faces charges of dealing in drugs, attempted murder and kidnapping.

According to information received, Krejcir was not seriously injured.

“Four police officers were taken to the Roseacres Clinic for treatment but were released yesterday afternoon,” the officer told the NEWS.
